Setting time away
For toil--idle days
Priceless, though, my time
Senseless, still, I pay
Break within the cloud
Crimson, smould'ring shroud
Tear within my soul
Ashen, faceless crowd
Dedicated now
I am, here, to the beast
An angry, rotting sow
From languishes long pieced
Not one soul
Survived that wicked call
Or resisted Siren's pull
To grasp the wretched pall
I set about the course
And marked myself a path
Through Sisyphus' remorse
Through Titan's ancient wrath
I do not cast among thee
The furies set apon me
Though by my shell, it would compel
My wrath, if I more faulty
Sullen, anguished boar
Gnarling, languished whore!
If I allow, that vile sow
Would live to see me scored
Irreverent and impudent
That beast would see me scorned
Setting time away
For mending--better days
Priceless, is my time
Unwilling, I, to pay
Break within the cloud
Amber-golden shroud
Silent, is my soul--at last
New pathways I have found
So my heart is lifted
From off that burial ground
